Side of ham -

Tbh I didn’t see the Kidderminster game, my boy had a game that day but hear they were all awful.

However we rarely make a quick start at home, been lucky not to be buried in the first 10 mins many this season, Brentford and Newcastle in particular come to mind - wolves I think would be more punishing.

I’d rather stay in the game until 50-60 mins then when it opens up a bit and the opposition push forward more like Wolves will as they will want the win then we can actually make some changes from the bench other than Vlasic for Benrahma and try hit them on the break with some fresh legs.

Our play is too slow, too predictable all round the pitch we look better when we play through the middle but hardly ever do it, we keep pushing it wide, letting the defence get set and hit crosses from the 18 yard box, it’s easy to play against.

Now I’m not saying Noble is the answer but the way Soucek is playing, he sure as shit ain’t either. Moyes don’t fancy Kral and you have to try something.

Unless if Lanzini is fit he tells Rice to play as a holding midfielder, protect the back 4 and play Lanzini and either Fornals or Vlasic through the middle.

He has to something other than keep playing the woeful Soucek.

Re: Team for Wolves
What are you lot talking about. Change personnel, change formation, change tactics. You do realise we have David '£100m to Spend' Moyes as manager don't you. it will be the same team, the same formation and the same tactics.

And afterwards after 'respecting the point' or as I think another defeat at home he will say 'One of our worst performances for some time, I can't work out why' ignoring Newcastle, Leicester, Watford ( I know we won but shocking performance) and Kiddie Harriers performances.

Really looking forward to this one as you can see.

I’ve got a feeling both Noble and Soucek will play

Re: Team for Wolves
Charoo if you want to make a quick start to a game with intent Noble is the last player we need on the pitch as every time he plays he slows us the fuck down to a snails pace. Did you not see his performance against Kidderminster? Even our win at Watford was preceded by a half hour of him getting into his stride, by which time Watford took the lead.......and as for insistence on taking corners and free kicks he can fuck off on this occasion where we need to come out the traps fucking swift.......

Vexed 2:01

When Noble has played this season none of his performances (pen miss aside) we’re as piss poor, weak and as hopeless as Soucek against Newcastle.

That was one of the most abject performances I’ve seen - Soucek was a fucking disgrace. He had no bollocks, no bite, no desire, no quality, he lumbered around the pitch looking sorry for himself. Cunt needs dropping and a rocket up his arse.

I don’t mind bad performances everyone has them, but to not fucking try or put yourself about I can’t tolerate that.

I’ve personally had enough of watching him let games pass him by nearly all season, looking round with that gormless look on his face. I’m also not buying that it’s Rices fault, that’s down to Soucek to fucking tell him to stay and sit because he’s going.

We need Tommy back firing because we all know what he can do - to sit him down for the first 55 mins before bringing him on won’t do him any harm.

Well one thing for certain is Moyes won't be able to claim we were tired after our midweek exertions!

I have read the whole thread and it will still be exiles team.

Re: Team for Wolves
IF we can somehow muster a win we will be in with a good chance of 6th what with a buffer on Wolves and Tottenham imploding. We seriously need to turn up for once and grab this opportunity.

As for the team, I couldn't give a fuck, just win the game.

Noble for the mighty Soucek? Are you some kind of cunt?

Re: Team for Wolves
I reckon Moyes is much more likely to change the system than the personnel.

Re: Team for Wolves
Vlasic in for Antonio
Noble in for Soucek

Can’t believe I’d ever suggest that but key changes must be made.

Re: Team for Wolves
Apparently Coufal has had an operation on a groin injury so he won’t be playing for a while! Johnson in at RB or will be risk Fredericks again, maybe he’s been working on his basic control!

Have to say I'll be very surprised if Moyes drops Antonio. Desperate times.

Re: Team for Wolves
Vexed - I wasn't talking about your selection - yours was one of the most sane ones.

PeeWee - so presumably you'll say the same about Moyes when he picks Antonio, which we all know he will do.

Picking the only experienced striker in the squad? Yeah proper controversial that exile son.

You lost your right to be taken seriously when you picked Antonio

Vexed - he's not the only one. I can't make up my mind if it's more like Monty Python or One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest on here this week.

Fucking hell Nick, you had a bang on the head or summink? Thats fucking dreadful!

Re: Team for Wolves
drop Antonio, drop Coufel and drop Soucek. Put Johnson in at RB, drop Lanzini into the deep role but Rice will have to defend, put Vlasic in up top (given he hasn't played centrally yet).
Can't keep playing those that are clearly way out of form or knackered.
